What size rollers should I buy to get curls like these.. ? (pic/ link included)?

I have slighty thick hair with a bit of a kink (well thats what the hair dresser told me) anyway I really want to get my hair looking like Kate Hudson's in this picture here:

A curler takes to long in my hair and it won't hold it for long so my mum told me she used to use rollers and because she has the same type of hair as me I hope rollers will work in my hair.. so what size because I love her hair in this picture..

Thank-you,

First of all, these celebrities have professional hair stylists doing their hair for them in addition to access to high-quality products, so it's nearly impossible to obtain hair exactly like theirs. I have a lot of hair too, and when I want curly locks like this, here's what I do and it seems to work pretty well (takes at least an hour and a half though).

Wash/Wet your hair

Apply mousse or some sort of styling product w/ a slight hold in it, then blow dry your hair.

Pin up the top half of your hair.

Use medium sized hot-rollers for the bottom half of your hair, spraying flexible hair spray on each chunk of hair before you roll it up.

Use a 1 - 1 1/2 inch curling iron for the top half of your hair, so you can obtain the pretty ringlets without the hassle of curling your entire head with it. Remember to use a flexible hold hair spray!

When you're done curling the top half of your head, the bottom half (in the curlers) should be cool enough to take out. Shake your head upside down (do NOT brush) and voila!

i think you should get the large ones. but not the biggest ones which are called jumbo. good luck!! the purple ones from target work good for me.
