Actors/models...photo question?
heyy.....im a comedic actress but i've done some print modeling in the past. im 13 years old. my moms friend from high school is an experianced fashion photographer and his wife is a make up artist with her own line. They have a house in the bahamas and i was going there with my family for a vacation so we thought it was a good time to do the shoot. I did it on the beach. i was wearing jean capris, light pink flip flops and a light pink tank top. His wife did natural makeup to me and i have curly hair (long) so i got a blow out. My hair was straight and they used a fan to make it look like it was blowing in the wind for some of the shots. It was really fun!
Good luck!
Actors/models...photo question?
I am a photographer who has shot portfolio photos for both models and actors.
The first response is a very good one. But I'm more curious about the reason for your question. If you're looking for names of people you want to contact you can find them in the credit lines of editorial layouts in Elle, Vogue, W, Harper's, etc. Also view the videos on http://Style.com and the behind the scenes photos. Lots of names there and you can see the result of their work.
My own shoots have sometimes been just me and the actor/model. On professional shoots there would be a dresser (wardrobe person) make-up person and a hairstylist. On most there would also be an editorial person. Sometimes I was my own make-up person and hair stylist. Sometimes the actor/model came ready-to-shoot and touch-ups were done by both of us. I've had actors working with a theatrical make-up person to create the variety of "looks" the actor wanted to portray in their book.
Hope that helps. If not, edit your question and add more information.
