What is an appropriate tip percentage for a high-end hair salon?

Assuming the hair dresser does a good job, of course.

I always tip 20% but have wondered if I am tipping correctly. It will be interesting to see the other answers.

As much as they charge, I don't think there should be a tip, especially if they're keeping most or all of what you're giving them, anyway.

I pay $25 for a simple haircut, and to me that is a lot and a lot and a lot of money for a haircut, and the price agreed upon by the stylist, herself. How or why should I add a tip to that high price?

pretty much depends how much time they spend with you and what they do to you.. as a rule of thumb think of it like a restautrant-- 5-10% of how much you pay, 15% if youre feeling generous

15%-20% is what I would give. I feeling terrible for undertipping but also I feel annoyed at how expensive hair is.

Honestly, if they do a good job i will give them 3-5 dollars ( depending on how god it was). But sometimes they can do a good job and be rude, and i dont stand for ladies like that! then i would give them a dollar or maybe nothing! Hope i helped answer your question!
