My friend Kristy's hair dresser told her it's better, but everyone says it's really bad for you hair. Does anyone know for sure?

you have to get the right kind of straightener... and i dunno if it's better or not... i have one that will dry wet hair, but i always wait til it's dry because it makes mine feel weird... i guess u'd have to try it to know for sure tho

It is real bad for your hair, it fries it and your hair dies and it looks gross it happened to my friend. But there is strainers you can buy where it is made to strainen your hair wet.

umm, it makes the straightner steam alot. just blow dry your hair with a dryer and if there is any "unstraightness" use the straightner on low heat. but i guarantee the dryer will get it mostly or all straight as long as you brush it and dry it at the same time.

Naah...dont straigten ur hair when it is wet or even slightly damp. U will damage it.

it is better but not straight it gets frizzy with one that drys it and straightens and if you straighten it when wet with a regular one it won't stay straight

If you comb your hair when it's wet it will dry up curly, it would be better to dry your hair before you go and comb your hair wet.

i agree with the other answers. it will fry your hair, but if you just spray your hair lightly with a few sprits of water, it won't damage your hair, damp i guess you could say, but other than that dont do it!

even the ones that say for wet hair should not be used. both wet and dry straighteners will fry your hair if its wet. also when straightening your hair while it is dry use a straightening spray this will make your hair not die so fast..

there are straighteners you can buy so that you can straighten wet hair but i still wouldnt suggest it. it can give you really split ends and break your hair. it also wont come out as straight either and it will take a lot longer because it wont be finished straightening until its dry anyway

Yes, if you buy a straightner that is specifically for wet hair...and a high quality one is probably your best best too.

I use the T3 wet-dry straightner and it works great and does NOT fry my hair.
