i recently waxed my eyebrows, not the entire thing , the hair dresser did a stupid job in trying to shape it, but i asked people how long does it take for it to grow back and they all gave me an answer of 6 weeks but i want to know when it grows back would it be normal?

It usually takes mine about 4 weeks to get back to normal, but for most people it's 6 wks. It will probably take more than six to get the kinky shape out enough for you to reshape them yourself. However you may find that in some spots where there used to be a hair, it won't grow there. Waxing can damage the follicle and cause it to never grow back

And in response to one of the other answers on here, it will not grow back thicker or darker than normal. That only happens when shaving, and even then the hair is not darker or thicker, really. What happens during shaving to make it appear that way is that you're actually cutting the hair off at the skin like, so it seems that it is. But since waxing pulls the hair from the root (or is supposed to), the hair may *just maybe* grow back finer and a little softer.

yeah it will be normal. I think 3 - 6 weeks. Also next time do threading it's much neater.

it'll be normal, my barber mesed my eyebrows up aswell.

6 weeks is about right, and no it wont grow back like it was in the beginning, it is still gonna have some shape to it, it will take longer then 6 weeks to get ur eyebraws back to no shape!

I had something similar happen to me and it grew back perfectly as for the time it takes to grow back I'd say it depends on how long your hair naturally grows and next time maybe buy one of those cut outs that you put over your eyebrow and wax it yourself. Sally hansen wax is my favorite or opt for a trimmer to fix your eyebrows. Good Luck!

Waxing eyebrows make your life so much easier, but you should have it done by someone really expert. And the only way to find out who's really professional is to give them a try! Now that you know that your hair dresser isn't good then try another one.

The hair should grow back normally. In the meantime, purchase an eyebrow pencil (lighter color than your hair color) and eyebrow brush to fix the damage. Girl, I've been there! This cosmetician did such a bad job waxing my eyebrows. She ruined my natural eyebrow arch and made me look pissed off until the hair grew back!

yeah, they will grow back soon enough, i went to my hair dresser and she waxed mine too and made them way to thin.. i looked like a drag queen for about 2 weeks until more hair started to grow in, it was then that i decided to stop waxing and just get one of those eyebrow shavers like on TV, they work wonders and you cant really mess up.!!!
