How to properly gel up my bangs?

...I don't really understand what you're saying so if this isn't what you're looking for, I'm sorry.

1. Wet your hair

2. Add a small amount of gel (mouse wax works better) to your palm and rub your hands together.

3. Run your fingers through your bangs, you want to make sure that this is an upward motion because you want your bangs flipping UP.

4. Grab a comb and a blow dryer.

5. Run the comb through your bangs to the tip of your hair.

6. Make sure the comb is holding your hair up.

7. Blow dry your hair like this until it's dry.

Hope this helps.

Are you trying to make your hair stand up straight or do a back curl? I can't visualize your hair style, but my husband uses copious amounts of hair gel himself, and he swears by the blow dryer. If you over-do the amount of gel, you'll never get your hair to dry and it will 'fall'; if you don't use enough gel, it will never stay either. The trick is finding the right amount of gel and practicing. A lot. You've go the weekend. You could always ask the hairstylist about it. Usually they are glad to help. Especially if you tell them you would really like to recommend them...Make sure you have a good hair gel, too. There are lots of different gels and if it isn't strong enough, it will never work. Even if you use the whole bottle!

Take a fine tooth comb and lift (with the comb) your bangs up. The spray with a bit of hair spray (aqua net or Rave is my fav) then take the comb out then gel up and spray with more hair spray.

Hope this helps :)
