Has John Edwards channelled the spirit of handicapped fetuses lately?

Like he did in one of his frivolous lawsuit cases that resulted in the bankruptcy of a good doctor?

"Judging by his fundraising efforts so far, I gather most of you don't know who John Edwards is -- unless you're an overpriced hair dresser. He's the trial lawyer who pretended in court to channel the spirit of a handicapped fetus in front of illiterate jurors to scam tens of millions of dollars off of innocent doctors. According to The New York Times, Edwards told one jury: "She speaks to you through me ... And I have to tell you right now -- I didn't plan to talk about this -- right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."

i love the way elizabeth edwards destroyed ann coulter's career last week with one simple request - to stop the personal attacks.

edwards got coulter to admit on national tv that if she were to stop the personal attacks she would have nothing to either write or speak about.

enough said.

i also think we all need to consider why radical republicans like this one are so deathly afraid of edwards.

i think it's because he will be a trust buster - their worst nightmare.

No. He has been too busy fighting off the millions of aborted children that have been slaughtered wholesale by him and his Abortinist ilk.

But I thought fetuses were human beings with thought processes and stuff like that.

Edwards channels the unborn, he should be the god of the anti-abortion community, right?

KNEEL BEFORE JOHN EDWARDS!

Has John Edwards channelled the spirit of handicapped fetuses lately?

Gee! not lately but he has be playing on our emotions for his dead son who dead for years now, and his wife's cancer.

He said this because the child who was born could not speak. The jury found that if it were not for the negligence of the doctor, the child would have been normal. Yes it's dramatic, but closing statements are often like that. The defense has its opportunity to argue the plaintiff is a gold digger, the "good doctor" is a caring and great guy who will be bankrupted.

Here's an excerpt from the article you have misconstrued:

"Referring to an hour-by-hour record of a fetal heartbeat monitor, Mr. Edwards told the jury: "She said at 3, `I'm fine.' She said at 4, `I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing O.K.' Five, she said, `I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, `I need out.' "

But the obstetrician, he argued in an artful blend of science and passion, failed to heed the call. By waiting 90 more minutes to perform a breech delivery, rather than immediately performing a Caesarean section, Mr. Edwards said, the doctor permanently damaged the girl's brain."
