How do I get my roots to match? platinum hair, brassy roots?

Well I went back home and let my old hair dresser dye my hair she used to do it but I was a darker shade of blonde at the time. I told her that they bleach and tone my hair to acheive the color. Well she did all that but I don't think she used the right toner or something because my roots do not match they are brassy. I really don't want to pay to have it done again. I am worried to use a toner again, and will it take? It was 2 weeks ago. Any other products I can use?

Which base color gets rid of that copper color?

Just a thought, how would it turn out if I bleach my whole head (I have a lot of different shades of blonde, most of it works though) I would not mind having the bleached blonde look.

You can just go to a salon and for around 50 dollars they will match ur roots to ur hair color!

That is so not the best answer because she did not even answer the question. I wanted to know how to do it myself I had already paid someone at a salon to do it and did not want pay again. Report It

instead of bleaching your whole head try getting some highlights...go to a stylist to get this done. u don't need bleach on ur ends, just ur roots. she probably did not get the newgrowth light enough in the first place. highlights will help blend everything together with the least possible amount of damage...Also get a deep conditioner when you get this done so your hair will look, feel, and be great.
