I have a ? about getting a perm?

ok i was born with straight hair , on saturday is the first time im gonna get a perm, i trust my hair dresser ive been using her since i was 9 and im 21 so you can say a long time, shes charging me about 70 bucks for it( a discount) but i dont want to go through the whole perm if i have to maintence it daily , so basically my ? is if i get a perm even tho my hair is naturally straight would i have to maintence it daily or will i be able to wake up every morning with it being nice and curly without havin to put anywhing in it other than moose and stuff like that... i dont know if this is relavint or not but i want light curls kinda like wavy hair

you'll have to do light maintance every morning.. just a little curling serum to smooth the frizz you'll probably have to deal with.. it honestly depends on your hair..i've had clients that don't have to touch their hair for 5 days and then some who have to do it every day. it's really your hair that makes or breaks the perm

you will have to maintain it everyday with a mousse or gel or it will be fuzzy. Even though your hair is naturally straight when u were born, when u get a perm it does damage the hair to some degree. You need to let your hairdresser what kind of wave u want cause the perm rod determines the curl or wave that u want.
